2011 Stanley Cup champions the Boston Bruins visited President Obama at the White House yesterday.  Well, all but one of them.  Goalie Tim Thomas chose to skip the visit for political reasons, which has created a fair amount of buzz.

In yesterday’s post I mentioned new social sharing site Pinterest.  As is one of the main focuses of this site I bring you my hands on experience with Pinterest so far as well as some of the buzz around the net.

I had somewhat of an epiphany last night regarding the malaise I have been feeling about blogging these past few months and so it is time to make some changes.

Non-stop sales / promotions from retailers and the resulting stream of emails to my inbox is by no means a fresh story, and I recognize and exercise full control over which ones I opt in to.  So what is it that makes CafePress.com stand out in a negative way?

Well, my promotional trial of Spotify ended and sadly I cannot even take advantage of the free version as I am not within the United States.

I saw this as a sign to try out Rdio, a similar service that I would have full access to.  I signed up and received access to my free 1 week premium service, but then in the rush before Christmas I did not have time to actually use it.  When I finally got around to it my premium trial had ended and I was surprised …

I think this could be an interesting, unique blogging experience.  Girnal.com is an online journal of sorts that is ostensibly focused on the writer’s romantic struggles (the first post is “I met a girl!”).  There looks to be the potential for a story to unfold as the blogger (simply identified as Guy) encourages readers to start at the beginning.
